At Frontier it is both our great joy and our purpose to glorify God in everything we do. Looking to the early church in Acts as our model, we seek to glorify God by:
- Devoting ourselves to the Word of God through the faithful preaching, teaching and proclamation of the Gospel (Acts 2:42, II Timothy 3:16-17; II Timothy 4:1-5)
- Devoting ourselves to the fellowship of believers and belonging to one another for Christ’s sake (Acts 2:42-47; II Corinthians 6:14-7:1; Ephesians 2:11-22)
- Devoting ourselves to holiness in our own lives and each other’s lives, through the power of the indwelling Spirit of God (Ephesians 4:11-16; Titus 2:11-14; Colossians 2:2-7; I John 3:1-3; Jude 20-21)
- Being obedient to Scripture in the faithful administration of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism (Acts 2:42; Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34)
- Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in the community and the world, continually affirming the Church’s mission to the lost; (Matthew 5:13-16; Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 1:8)
- Devoting ourselves to prayer (Acts 2:42; Psalm 32:6; Proverbs 15:29; Romans 12:12; Philippians 4:5-7)
Frontier is a warm and welcoming church. We are sinners saved by grace. We’re far from perfect, but we really do love each other, and we’re learning day by day to love the Lord with all that we are and find our identity in Him.
